[VIDEO] BpTT Renegades takes home 10th Panomara title

Trinidad and Tobago is proud of its national instrument, the steelpan. Every year, thousands turn out to enjoy the electric atmosphere at the National Panorama Championships; where the finalists of large and medium bands compete for the winning title. Many foreigners come to Trinidad and Tobago just for this event, joining the locals in dancing to the sweet music.

BpTT Renegades copped first place in the Large Band category this year, after a 21-year drought and being the first and only band to complete a hat-trick of Panorama victories. This is the 10th win for the widely popular band. Arranger Duvone Stewert led the band to victory with the song “Year for Love” by Soca Monarch winner – Voice. In the Medium category, the world-class steelpan composer and arranger from Tobago also led Pan Elders to the top with Brigo’s “Limbo Break.”
